This photo was taken in 1952
My Dad had a service station in San Antonio. He opened it
in 1931 when he and my Mom got married. He didn't like this
photo because one pump showed a sale of only 50 cents and the other $1.35!
Regular was 24.9 cents per gallon, and premium was 26.9 cents per gallon. Dad had
a heart attack working at the station in 1978 at the age of
69. He was a hard working man and a wonderful father.
