I planted the Passion Vine for the Gulf Fritillary butterfly larva,
but they sure are fascinating....especially with drops of dew (or nectar). I also
enjoyed a lovely sunrise this morning.I almost missed it
because I was oooohing and aaaahing over Gayle's New Mexico photos!

It's one of the most unusual flowers. Always think it should spin like a whirly gig.

Petesie, you are so sweet!
I love this shot. I was spellbound by the perfectly caught dew! That sunset is incredible too!

Thank you, Peter. I just assumed it was dew...maybe it is nectar. Thanks.

Excellent macro! Are the drops really dew? They look like they could be nectar.

Would have been a shame to miss that lovely sunrise, although Galye has some excellent shots from NM....I've been enjoying them, too. Love your macro of the Passion Vine, too.
