More yard art because I'm sticking close to home. We decided that
we would try to find a cement statue of each animal that we have
seen on our property to put with our St. Francis statue
....couldn't find them all, but we have a deer (of course),
a raccoon, a roadrunner, a turtle, snake, rabbit, squirrel, red bird, snake, and others.
My favorite is a fox....one year we had a family of fox...foxes?...coming each evening
and we would feed them. We went to Gatlinberg, Tennessee that year and found a fox
statue. While John was putting it in the trunk someone said "You came all of the way
from Texas to buy THAT?" It was funny.

John isn't doing well. Sleeping more, not wanting to eat much and getting weaker....so
memories like that lift my spirit. His daughter from Oklahoma is here for a visit and we
are both enjoying that very much.

Petesie I am sure you brighten his day just by telling him about the staute today, and the flowers and sunsets you've shown us. You are letting him sleep that much easier. Take good care. xx

This is beautiful. The way the light is hitting it really gives it an ambiance. Sorry to hear that John is not doing as well but he is home where he wants to be, with you.
