Light is everything! I was outside in my PJ's...took a few photos...
came in to get a jacket and the light was gone. Maybe I did learn a
bit in the portraiture class....this is called split or
hatchet lighting. My subject didn't move, but he wouldn't smile either. LOL

Funny thing; I was just explaining to someone the other day that everything is light. We want to depict it or bend it to suit us, but it's the light that makes the photo or the painting. Super modeling on this!!

We have a lot of that split lighting with our oak trees so I always try to do oaks when it is overcast. Nice hatchet photo.
