Nothing pleased me today. Yesterday Karen Leaf had an image of a basket. I thought maybe I have something around here....this is a hand crafted wooden bowl that I found at a garage sale. I set it in front of the back door (I learned that at the workshop) and snapped a couple of photos. Nothing like yours, Karen, but it is my experiment...LOL...and thank you for the inspiration. At least it is something different for me. There was a lovely sunrise and a equally beautiful sunset, but I decided to post this. I am tired and didn't even put a frame on it. Here is the school bus at sunrise. Good night and sweet dreams!

Petesie, this is so lovely. I like the light hitting in in the right front and left, with the black b/g is great. You did so well! (And i like doing stuff out of the 'ordinary' too, every once in a while. It gets the juices going again, for me anyway!) Thanks, Petesie!

The sateen finish has been picked up beautifully by the light. Another comment I thought I had written seems to have not made it.

Well, quit beating up on yourself---this came out really well.

Wonderful image! I like the contrast against the black, it really makes the woodgrain stand out.
