Yes, believe it or not, that is me standing next to Miss Universe, Miriam Stevenson
of the US at the Tournament of Roses Parade in 1955. I don't look ten years old, do I?
I rode on the San Antonio Float, and we won first place in our class.
What was nice is that my dress was made by my best friend Joyce's Mom,
Mrs. Bobo. Another friend made the flowers and my Mom and I sewed them on...
and here I am with Miss Universe...bet her dress isn't homemade!
