Green Anole

I spent the night at my brother and sister-in-law's lovely old home in Eagle Lake, Texas.
It is over 100 years old, and they have just fixed it up so beautifully.
Ivan was supposed to pay a visit, but thank goodness, he stayed east of us. This little anole
seemed to be posing for me. Unfortunately I had to use a flash. As soon as I took a couple of
photos, he looked back at me and took off.

Nikon Coolpix 4500
1/60s f/3.6 at 17.5mm iso100 with Flash full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Awesome -- never seen one of these before. Lots of salamanders, but not these quick little lizard-types. Flash does have its uses, though I'm leery about the washout factor... Still. Flash is better than no picture at all!
