ALAMO VINE

This perennial morning glory opens at noon and stays open all afternoon. The flower is white with a reddish center. It is a native to south central Texas. The blooms appear from May to November

I wish I could show all of the changes the bloom goes through before becoming this seed pod. It is really an interesting plant.

Looks almost like an oak leaf (that's what I thought it was from the thumb).

Oh this is so cool petesie. I like the leaf best of all but the flower is very interesting.

Yep, LOL at the funky acorn. These leaves are great! Like how the stem breaks the frane in half.

Wonderful detail shown against that blue sky. Sounds an interesting plant.

Abstract yet whole.
I like the idea of funky acorns, got a picture of groovy trees waving their branches around in my head

I does look like an oak. I would love to see the flowers.

It's beautiful, especially the way you framed it against the sky. It looks sort of like an oak with a funky acorn.
