I roamed my five acres trying to find something to celebrate and the cactus bloom was it.
Every thing is burning up with record breaking temperatures, we are in an exceptional drought
and the air is full of smoke from the wildfires in west Texas......but the bloom brightened my spirits. Very few wildflowers this year.
