FAREWELL TO A LADY

My friend Nancy and I took a ride to Johnson City today pay our respects and to view the
ceremonial cortege of Lady Bird Johnson on the way to the Johnson Ranch in Stonewall for burial.
A beautiful lady of history, but to this small town a woman well-loved.

What a lovely gallery & in my opinion some of the finest images you have taken, Petesie. You should do more candid photography...Perhaps you had a Lady Bird sitting on your shoulder...!!

This is a fine series. I would have gone if I had been in Texas. She was a grand lady.
