This is for my grandchildren....to learn more of the great-grandfather they never got to know.
My Dad opened a Mobil station in 1931,the year he and Mom were married.
He had his fatal heart attack working at the station in 1978 at the age of 69.
He was there from seven in the morning until eight o'clock at night six days a week and a half day on Sunday.
When a customer drove up one man would check the oil, one the tires, one would wash the windshield
and another would fill the gas tank.....believe it of not!
The best part was the man he was....a wonderful husband and father and a loyal friend.
I'm proud to be his daughter.
