Christchurch is the last stop on our tour of New Zealand...we had a wonderful dinner at the Bard of Avon pub...best fish and chips I've ever eaten. The next morning we boarded the bus for sightseeing with a drive up the winding Summit Road to see Lyttleton Harbour, then a stop at The Sign of the Takehe, then back to beautiful Christchurch with its old stone buildings, the Avon River and acres of parks. We were all sorry we didn't have more time in this "Garden City".
What a setting with the snow-capped mountains as a backdrop to this beautiful city.
Now on to Australia!
