We were lucky enough to have Tim, Sheryl, Amber & Emma make the long drive to visit us. All 3 of our dogs were on their best behavior and the kids loved having the whole pack!

Chris made some incredible food to celebrate! Spicy shrimp cocktail in the early afternoon, followed by pumpkin bisque with homemade herbed rolls. An hour or 2 later, we had the main meal: turkey brined with buttermilk, stuffing (sourdough, artichoke hearts, sausage, parmesan, mushroom), mashed potatoes with goat cheese, parmesan-crusted broccoli, and gravy from scratch. I'm gaining weight just thinking about it.

They were wonderful guests and we all had a great time!
