A hike in to Guillemot Cove Park on a nice May day.
Mom and I dropped everything when Tuesday, May 30th, dawned sunny to hike down into Guillemot Cove Park. The park is an old homestead now open to the public. The property is heavily wooded with native species and there's a few ornamentals near the old waterfront cabin. It's about a mile down the trail to the waterfront...but at least 6 miles back up to the parking!
