Grace Cathedral

Located in the affluent neighborhood of Nob Hill, Grace Cathedral is the headquarters of the Episcopal Diocese of California, the territory of which only encompasses the San Francisco Bay Area. This French Gothic style church was built after the previous cathedral was destroyed in the 1906 earthquake and fire, and finally completed in 1964.
It is most famous for its art collection, including fresco, stained glass windows by American Charles Connick & French Gabriel Loire, and a reproduction of the famous bronze doors of the Florence Cathedral Baptistery.
