Guggenheim Museum

The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum is dedicated to arts from the Impressionist to contemporary periods.
Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and opened 6 months after his death in 1959, this circular building with an expanding spiral ramp topped with a skylight is an art work in its own right, often overshadowing its contents.
