Siegessäule (Victory Column)
Completed in 1873, this column commemorates the Prussian victories over Denmark, Austria and France in 1864, 1866 and 1871 respectively, which removed all obstacles to German unification.
Located at the center of a busy traffic circle in Tiergarten, it now reaches a height of 66.89m. I took this photo from a moving bus.
