St. Paul's Chapel was built in 1766.
Located at the southeast corner of the Church and Vesey St, directly across from the World Trade Center site, St. Paul escaped destruction on 9/11, because a large sycamore tree shielded it from falling debris. On the left, we were looking at the remaining stump.
