The leaning Café de Sluyswacht was a 1695 lock-keeper's house.
The modern Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten (Amsterdam School of the Arts)
was designed by Teun Koolhaas Associates in 1997.
They sit across the Jodenbreestraat from the famous Rembrandt's House,
which is not visible from our cruise boat down on the Oudeschans Canel.
