Roman aqueducts brought water to Pompeii for public use at many fountains. This one on Via dell’ Abbondanza is decorated with a relief of the head of Fortuna and her horn of plenty.
Along this street is the side of Eumachia’s Building. Continuing down the street brought us to the forum and the front of the building.
