Durian, the king of fruits
To durian lovers, the fragrant of this tropical fruit is like heaven. To others, it is highly offensive. To put in politely, its aroma reminds me of ripe garbage. Although durian is out of season in January, many can be found on street stalls. Here in Jalan Alor, restaurants would not allow customers to bring their own durian in, even in double plastic bags. Our friends had to eat it on the street.
