Our first full day in Japan started with breakfast at our hotel in Narita 成田.
On the bus ride into central Tokyo, the first sight our guide, John, pointed out to us is not some classic Japanese building but an American icon, Disneyland. Although the chance of catching a glimpse of Mickey is zero, we pointed our cameras through the rain soaked windows at the Victorian style Tokyo Disneyland Hotel.
