Flypast - Great Blue Heron

British Columbia

A heronry has been established in trees about 3 blocks from our condo building. They make frequent flights to and from the lake.

These are significant crops from 2 frames I have managed to capture.

Both caught in a graceful spread of wings. The one approaching the clouds was timed well, adds drama. VVV How providential for photo ops when we are reluctant to leave home.
