I was enjoying a pleasant walk beside the lake with my wife and sister-in-law when this boat was launched for what appeared to be its first run of the season. I took several frames as it sped along the lake and decided to try merging these two together.

Afterthought: I originally wrote about the noise shattering the peace and quiet. I am not one who objects to people using boats, it is a part of lake life I have greatly enjoyed whenever the opportunity to do so arose. This is a beautiful lake with room enough for everyone.
