A very special capture of this red sunset, Peter. Shame that it is under the circumstances of the fire beneath it. Very atmospheric as well.BV!!

Beautiful, yet telling of the loss of nature's forest and life of the inhabitants. An image that's better then words, this is it. BV

Difficult to comment on this photo, Peter. It is both beautiful and ominous. Knowing that the diffusion was cause by heavy smoke gives one pause. The lost of old growth forest and the possible lost of life runs counter to the beauty of the photo. I hope this thick haze causes you no harm. Vote.

rich ambience here, yet a spooky scene too...there must be a lot of particulate matter in the Shuswap air...alas fire season is far from over..

Erie and ominous feeling in this image. The smoke is so intense. Very well photographed.

What a pity ! It looks like a dying sun on a dying world. An image of tomorrow ? V.

So unfortunate about the fires. I like the image though, it has an interesting abstract quality to it.

A "Mars" sun. A memorable image of this conflagration. "VVV"
