After several days of magnificent sunset skies, all of which I missed, it seemed similar conditions would produce something spectacular last night also. Alas, this was not the case.

Edit: This originally was posted as a blend of 3 exposures. I decided to try processing a single exposure and preferred the result.

I wouldn't want a spectacular sky to competes with the strong dark areas here. I also like the powerful light on the rock The smooth sky sets it all nicely. so there...my opinion. "V"
