Sorry to bore you with another muted sunrise.
I would have liked a more centred composition,
my shooting partner was hogging the middle.
I'm not too displeased with this view.

I used one of my Lee filters for the first time in a
couple of years for the sky, a 0.9 soft GND.

A tad off center is just right and balances off the far dock that is just askew. Everything looks picture perfect to me!

The perspective is such that I feel that I can stand up from my chair and step across to the dock. It conjures up the feeling of wanting to do so. "V"

It is almost always more interesting to look at asymmetry, so this is entirely beautiful for being off-kilter. It looks like a good place for dangling the toes - in summer at least, although maybe not at this time of year.

That the photo is not centred makes it more interesting. A wonderful place, makes me wish to sit down and stay for a while. Very beautiful colours and compo.
