Soaked

British Columbia

I allowed my shooting partner to persuade me to go to our local wharf
at sunset last night. As the rain poured down I silently berated her
absence and warped sense of humour while pondering the sufficiency of
the weather sealing of my new camera and lens. At this point I was
picking up my gear to leave, she appeared and told me she had been
shooting at a different spot lower down. As I post this she has sent me
hers which is much better than my effort. That just makes me grumpy. :)

\I love the perspective and use of dark and light in this scene, Peter. I also like the curve that leads the away to the left of the shot and the wonderful calmness of the water. BV!!!

Hard to believe Peter that your partner's is much better than this.
The glow of light through the stormy ambiance and the preserved details in the wood grain of the walk way is just marvelous.
