White-throated Bulbul of the genus Alophoixus is a bird I seldom encounter. The Western mountains of Thailand hold this species but it is at the very southernmost part of its distribution range which stretches from Bhutan all the way to Mae Wong National Park where I saw this bird. I have never seen it at the much birded sites of the very North, such as Doi Inthanon, Doi Angkhang and Doi Lang. Anyone wanting to see it has to go further West closer to the border of Myanmar I believe.
