Red-bearded Bee-eater

Kaengkrachan National Park

Normally found in the Peninsula of Thailand. This bird was nesting at Kaengkrachan National Park which is its most Northern boundary. A real jewel of a bird with spectacular colors and a strong grunting call.It prefers the interior of primary forest. This picture was not digiscoped but I used my Nikon FM 2 with a Tamron 500mm reflex lens on normal film and then scanned the image.
