We did not go inside Ngorongoro and Serengeti for a few simple reasons. Way too expensive. Too many tourists. Not many birds outside of what we could see elsewhere. I was all fine with that.

Instead we drove to Tarangire NP where the entrance fee is a fraction of the 2 mentioned parks but holds most of the mammals except for Leopards.
