This bird is actually quite hard to get close to. A common bird of open areas and secondary growth.

Thanks; Have been trying to identify a stand out burd here in Po Mok, Ayuthaya Provence. When it takes flight the bright blue stripes on the wing and tail struck me, very beautiful. This Indian Runner is close if not it would like to see an in-flight view. sitting does not do this bird justice.
