Marsuipal Mouse

O'Reilly's, Lammington NP, Queensland

Not sure what this one is. Pretty sure it's a dasyurid (small thumb on
hind feet). It was unbelievably fast! Size was around 150mm total length.
Maybe a yellow footed antechinus - but I think its a bit small for that.
Anyone got any ideas?

Hi Peter
I work with Landcare and am conducting an educational session with kids and I wanted to show them photos of Australian animals so that they could understand the depth and variety within Australia and also understand the need for a biodiverse landscape.
Your photos are detailed and clear, so I was hoping to print some off and laminate them just for educational purposes.
Would this be okay or would you prefer I didn't.
Kind Regards
Kerstie

Great shot Peter! I think the tail is too long for an Antichinus ..... excellent details. Voted.
