On September 4th 2011, Canterbury had a 7.1 magnitude earthquake.
This was a long straight road before the earthquake. Now the centre
line of the road lines up with the side of the road. That's a 3
metre displacement! Must get back to see if it has moved any more
with all the aftershocks!
