I have had my hair styled at John Gerrards, Morpeth by Clare for 15 years or more and never been disappointed, ive gone from short to long back to short and now curly long, i took my Grandson over the years for Steve to tackle which was perfectly done with an extreme amount of laughs .. thanks to you all. See you this Wednesday.

I had the best three hours for a long time! Andrea transformed my uninteresting hair into a slick modern style with clever colour art to accentuate the look -very becoming for a woman of a certain age! Andrea, Peter and Dan are true professionals and it was worth every penny I spent. Will be back!

Do you have any clients older than 20? These designs are marvellous but as a more mature woman (53) I would like to see what you can offer to someone closer to my age. Having just moved to the NE I'm looking for a new stylist and was hoping to find something here to inspire me.

Visited the salon for the first time last week. The whole experience was great; from the fab interior and subtle lighting to the excellent client attention and comfort. Regarding my hair, I am a hard woman to please, it needs to be good .......... however Peter it wasn't good, it was exceptional! Can't wait to return for a colour! Thanks, Lorraine.

I did some hair modelling at the Hexham salon yesterday for Bryce and I want to say a huge thank you to everyone there. I got complete star treatment, my hair was absolutely perfect and the shots are amazing. All the staff are so friendly and I will definitely be recommending the salon to everyone and coming back for more! x

Hey Peter it's Kayley, I came in the other day with my mate Chris. Everyone loved my hair and thought you'd done the blonde really well! Chris said thanks for putting the blue in the side of his hair, he loves it. I'd definitely recommend going to see Peter, he's a great stylist but also a really lovely guy, with a great taste in underpants, Calvin Klein darlings :p Anyway I'm coming in to see you next week cos I had a bit of a hair mishap the other day and need you to sort it out x

I went to John Gerard last tuesday and was a model for Callum who has just started working there a few weeks ago. He is really good at washing and drying hair, the staff working there are really friendly and polite. I would advise this salon to anyone!

As part of the Good Salon Guide I travel to salons throughout the region and I can truly say the service I received in the Newcastle salon was second to none. The photography I was shown was fantastic and very excitable. Its as the title says, these are real people who look a million dollars and from the comments feel it too. Its what we as clients want from a salon.

I had my hair done here the other day - I went in with blonde hair and came out as a brunette! I absolutely love it!! It was my graduation ball on the night time so they even curled my hair for me (thanks Hayley)!! At the ball all my friends said how nice it was, and that they could tell from the quality of the cut and colour that the stylist (Lindsey) was obviously really good. At work the next day everyone said the same. I was really impressed and recommend that everyone should go!! Thanks guys and i'll be back when my roots start to show! xxxxxxx

hiya these hairstyles and models look amazing and as i am working and helping alongside the john gerard salon it is great experiance as you can gain alot of courage as alot of salons dont have this.
