There was some interest in Peter’s art at Kokopelli Gallery but the owners weren’t there. We noticed the Edge Gallery down the street a bit and went in. Peter has been following Bret’s quest to live in Moab to do his photography on a nature photography forum. Bret took a job as a police officer in Moab so he could live there.

We went in and there were Bret’s wonderful images and a lovely young lady sitting behind the deck. Peter told her how he knew of Bret and thought he might be lucky enough to catch him in. She said he was on duty right now. We continued chatting, and it became obvious that she was Bret’s wife. We ended up bring in some samples of Peter's rock art. She liked it a lot and thought it would be something that would sell in Moab.

A police officer came in…it was Bret. Melissa introduced us and Peter got to pay homage to a photographer he admires. He gave him one of his paintings which seemed to be appreciated. Bret was there on a break from work to have a cupcake with his son for his third birthday so we said goodbye and went on our way.
