Pigeons flying atop the Forcalquier cathedral on a sunny morning shot with the D300 and the Sigma 150-500. The small birds are very high up, about 30 to 40 meters. The shots of the flying birds were taken at five shots per second, hand held in good light. About a third of the shots were keepers. All pictures taken from the ground up. Very little post processing, mostly sharpening and dlighting with Nikon NX. Other pictures taken in our garden.
