Most of these pictures are taken in the sky over our garden from the roof terrace. Please excuse those of very poor quality as the birds fly high up in the sky and the pictures have to be blown up and doctored, but they serve to show the varieties that are present in the Provence backcountry. Most of the raptors come for the doves that we feed all winter long and that catch their fancy, so to speak. The Verdon Gorge and Drome vultures are taken in situ.
