The in flight gulls taken on the meditteranean shores (Bandol) with good lighting. The other birds taken in our Provence garden (black bird, goldginches, etc..).
The much disputed Nikon 18-200vr f4.5-5.6 lens is a wonderful walk around lens, a bit pricey, perhaps, but very useful, if well handled, for the tourist, and well suited to the D300 with its noise free high ISO capacity. Most of these, however, are taken with the D80 and good light.
More 2008 pictures taken by Colette with the D200 at the Hawk demonstration. If shot in Raw format and processed for precision, the lens is exceptional.
