insects

All the insects are from our garden in the Haute Provence back country. A lot were taken with Colette's canon's point and shoot powershot (Ixus) 750, 970 or G10 or with the Nikon SlR's (D200, 300, 700), mostly with the 105 macro f2.8 vr. Some taken with the Nikon 200-400 which enables pctures taken from a distance, mostly flying butterflies. The recent kenco extension tubes help increase the magnification. An excellent combo is also the D300, 300mm f4, TC 1.4 and the Kenco extension tube, preferably with a tripod.
