This and next are sequence pictures of a dove in full fligh taken handheld, in evening light, from about 20 meters. VERY hard to catch those fast birds other than landing or takeoff as either the lens does not have time to focus, or the bird is hard to find with the small coverage of the 500mm lens. These birds given their weight, don't glide like raptors, they flap in earnest and speed along.
