Bird pictures taken in early 2008 with the Nikon D300 and the Nikon 70-200 vr, HAND HELD, through the windows of our Provence garden. Pictures sharpened with Nikon Capture NX, as the lens has a limited range. Small birds taken from about 10 meters but the magpies from about 30 meters as they stay at a safe distance. Pictures 2445 to 2918 were taken under the rain at 1600 iso with tripod; the luminous f2.8 lens shows its quality here.
