Bonfire

I know it's not very 'green' having a bonfire but once a year we have to reduce the hedge cuttings to ash and the ash is good for the vegetables.

I like glowing embers and dancing flames
.As you say not good for the breathing air.
But also know that these glowing embers can be very relaxing and trance inducing.
Good work Pete

Looks very dramatic! And it makes an excellent shot.

Forget about being "green" ~ it's just a stupid indoctrination of the public.
I love the smell of burning leaves and the wonderful burning glow of the embers. Fab shot Pete! :)

Great hot shot Pete...we are only allowed to have bonfires twice a year to burn the garden rubbish....no Guy Fawkes in Seden!...BV

Ah bonfires...reminds me of autumns when I was a nipper....burning all the leaves and left over composty grass stuff that hadn't turned to mulch. Have always loved the smell of a bonfire since then...I can smell this one from here!! :o)
