Well, finally a use for my flash's "stroboscope" setting!
2s mirror lock-up fired by wired remote, and let the nut go
at the same time as firing the flash. Nut slides down the
hydraulic line and #bang#

Erase and rewind till you get it right ;)

Postprocessing: from RAW, B&W, slight levels (blackpoint), slight curves (contrast),
then removed some stuff in the background which wasn't totally black.
