Locking bolt visible bolting the Pentax body to the DUP plate below. I use an ADM saddle here so I can change out this lens for others quickly without using tools. Also used for balancing the load.
Losmandy G11 is an older model circa 2004 - built for Celestron. A 3" C clamp helps hold the pivot point solid. All the cables are routed along the mount or DUP plates. This setup can slew to any position without snagging a cable.
Green building in background was a drying house for tobacco - no longer in use. It is to the north - and not an obstruction as I do not do galaxies. Cassiopeia and Perseus easily clear the house. Big Dipper would be behind the house with Polaris almost directly above.
