Went to Signal Mountain that night to watch sun set over Mt. Moran, instead saw the magic rise of the bright venus with the new moon!

Venus is closer to the Sun than our planet earth, so it's only visible over western sky during sunset. To have the venus in the crescent moon is a rare event as both move in differnet orbit.
