Volcanic Sunset

Coconino County, AZ view map

The area around Flagstaff, AZ is strewn with dormant volcanos. In fact, Flagstaff sits
at the base of the San Francisco Peaks, which are still considered to be capable of an
eruption (although not anytime soon). This was the scene over one of the smaller volcanic
domes as I was coming back from my visit to Chocolate Falls on the Navajo Nation.

Its a fine area, I remember visiting Sunset Crater some years ago.
