The spot where I parked to start my exploration of Coal Mine Canyon.
Below, a short (~2m30s) video compilation from a couple of drone flights over the area.
Best viewed in full screen mode in HD 1080p. If you only want to view in the window in PBase then 720p is probably ok.
If you would like to view in 4K then you can do that here
And a shot from the drone coming in to land. I only use the landing pad for takeoffs and hand catch the drone for landings.
I may do a compilation video of "dronies" because I always seem to have the same confused look when bringing the drone in.
Gosh Sam, loved the 4K video! Especially where the drone went back up in towards your vehicle. Really makes you wonder what happened geologically or weather to create such a scape. Did you need special permission from the local Navajo to park there and explore? Southern Alberta in Writing on Stone and also the Drumheller area is very similar to this. Climate hot and very dry too.
Beautiful photo too with just the cap of clouds overhead...
First thing that I thought was "Thelma and Louise" but that happen in a different state. Nice work, Sam. We have been close to Coal Mine, but never took the time going there.
a shrewd stop poised on the precipice...totally engrossing video...the flyover of the canyon reveals such riches in terms of formations and colours...superb work...VVV
