Elevated

Kitt Peak National Observatory, Pima County, AZ view map

Even though I have been devoting a lot of my riding time to my new motorcycle, yesterday was a great day
for a morning ride out (and up) to Kitt Peak on the F800GT to keep the spirit elevated. The temp readout
was 72F when taking this pic (iPhone HDR, merge in PS for detail recovery) and then reality set in upon my
return home where it was 99F by the time I pulled into the garage. That heat isn't that bad when riding,
but the stop and go traffic in town is what makes the heat really annoying. Or maybe it's just the traffic.

Way too much for me - both the temp and the motorcycle :-)

I feel for you, 99c definitely too hot for travel even on a bike

That's a fine looking ride, Sam.

What a pretty bike! I imagine that it must get very hot wearing a helmet too!
