Interesting to see the electrical shaft follow the general direction of the rain shaft. Lightning can be pushed by high
winds but that is not the case in this particular discharge, at least not as apparent as I've captured in other instances.
It is also difficult to tell in this image exactly where the lightning was going (to/from) relative to the camera.
This is a single 1 second exposure, so there was a bit of luck involved during my continuous fire sequence.
